Starting right in the heart of the Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta, we’ll reach the Rifugio Orso Bruno mountain hut, where you can take in a fantastic view of the Brenta Dolomites; as you descend you’ll also enjoy a view of the Ortles Cevedale mountains.

A pleasant walk through the woods to discover all of the tracks in the snow left by animals. The silence of the forest in the Stelvio National Park, broken only by the gurgling sound of the Rabbies River and the sounds of the inhabitants of the woods, will accompany us as we walk past the waterfall of the rio Ragaiolo stream in order to reach the ancient Venetian sawmill, an im- portant historical site linked to local traditions.

Starting from the center of the highest town in Trenti- no, we’ll start to walk back through history: we’ll walk by the former Austro-Hungarian cemetery passing through typical mountain shelters called “masi” that remind us of the rural history of the area, surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes along the entire itinerary, that are even more astounding once you re- ach the Covel plain!

We’ll walk up to the Malga di Dimaro alpine dairy from where you can enjoy a striking view of the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will then continue into the heart of the Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta where we’ll reach the “Baita Ciocomiti – Malga Vigo” alpine dairy and whe- re you’ll have the chance to savour a delicious lunch.
