Breathtaking Views between Cogolo and Celledizzo

When they say “In the mountains, there are breathtaking views” but you see the mountain as a distant place, up there, almost unreachable .. Here is the surprise! This hike is almost flat, in the sun, not too long, close to the village center and … finally .. with a breathtaking view! The trail starts from the hotel and returns to it; we will go on foot to downtown Cogolo and then climb the upper road to Celledizzo, and there, between these two villages, after a short climb, we will enjoy an amazing view. The view ranges from the Mount Boai on the right to the opposite slopes of Mount Presanella, then just a hint of the Brenta Range on the background and, finally on the left, the forests above Celledizzo on the slopes of Mount Vegaia. As we return to Cogolo, we will cross the village of Celledizzo and enjoy its square always animated by local people.

Curiosity:

Celledizzo is known as the village of fountains. There are 17 of them, including outdoor sinks and drinking troughs, the oldest ones dating back to 1900 and being made of granite. In Celledizzo, inside the renovated Venetian sawmill, there is the Ethnographic Museum of Wood.
