There are numerous streams and lakes for fishing in Val di Sole, and most of it is concentrated in the Ortles-Cevedale area between Val di Rabbi and Val di Pejo. Our mountain lakes and streams are an excellent habitat for rainbow trout, brown trout, marble fish and for the prized Arctic char. Fishing is a relaxing activity, and in Val di Sole you have a wide choice of fishing spots. Some highlights are the Noce stream, the main stream of the valley, or Lake Pian Palù in Val Pejo, a large reservoir at 1,800 m, up to Lake Soprassasso in Val di Rabbi, a glacial lake at 2,240 m above sea level.
